About me

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, at KU Leuven. I received the M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2014 and 2017, respectively. After my Ph.D., I conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Virginia.

My research interests lie at the confluence of signals, systems, and data science. At present, my research is centered on the general areas of Graph Mining, Optimization, and Machine Learning. I am broadly interested in developing cutting-edge algorithmic tools in convex and submodular optimization for tackling challenging problems arising in mining massive networked systems. Recent problems that I have worked on include graph matching and subgraph mining.
